In my life I have been fortunate to visit and spend time in many beautiful places. Whether I’m travelling, cycling, paddling, or hiking, I always have a camera with me in case a photo opportunity presents itself. Capturing the beauty of my environment in an arresting photo is what fuels my passion. Some of my photos are a result of careful planning, others a result of serendipity. In addition to photographing nature, I love to photograph people, outdoor activities and events.

I am a member of the Muskoka Arts and Crafts Council and as a freelance photographer have been published in a variety of magazines such as, Unique Muskoka, Canadian Geographic, Paddling Magazine, and Sports Illustrated. As a volunteer I have also photographed a variety of fund raising events such as the Muskoka River X.

I grew up in Toronto and moved to Muskoka in 1988 where I taught elementary school until I retired in 2013. Being retired has allowed me to spend even more time with a camera in hand doing what I love.
Hope you enjoy my photos.
